Welcome to OilFirst’s Return & Refund Policy. This policy governs returns, refunds, and exchanges for orders delivered via courier. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Scope & Applicability

This policy applies only to products purchased directly from www.oilfirst.in and delivered via courier within India.
It covers only physical goods (e.g. edible oils, non-edible oils, peanut butter) and does not apply to services, gift cards, or digital downloads.
The policy is in addition to, not in substitution of, any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in India.

2. Return / Exchange Window

You may request a return, exchange, or refund within 7 days from the date of delivery.
After the return window expires, we unfortunately cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds.

3. Eligibility for Return / Exchange

To be eligible for return/exchange, the product must satisfy all of the following:

The product is in unused, unopened, and resalable condition.
It is in its original packaging, with all original seals, labels, tags, and accessories intact.
You must provide the original proof of purchase (invoice, order ID, or receipt).
You must request the return or exchange within the timeframe above and receive return authorization before sending the product back.

If the returned product fails inspection (e.g., signs of use, missing packaging, damage not reported), OilFirst reserves the right to refuse the return or deduct a restocking fee.

4. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective:

Items that have been opened, used, or tampered with
Products with broken or missing seals, unless you report damage immediately
Perishable or consumable goods (if applicable)
Items sold “final sale” or under clearance discounts (if explicitly stated)
Gift cards, downloadable digital content
Customized, bespoke, or made-to-order goods

5. Return Process & Shipping Costs

Step 1: Initiate Return Request

Contact our Customer Service via email at reachout@oilfirst.in or via the “Contact Us” section on our site.
Provide your order number, product name / SKU, reason for return, and photographs (if damage or defect).
Wait for our Return Authorization (RA) or instructions. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.

Step 2: Pack & Ship

Once authorized, securely pack the product in its original packaging (or similarly protective packaging).
Label the package with the RA number (if any) and ensure it’s sent to the address we provide.
Shipping cost for return will be borne by:
- OilFirst, if the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged, defective)
- Customer, for change of mind / buyer’s remorse returns (unless otherwise agreed)
We recommend using a trackable courier and insuring the return (at your cost) to safeguard against loss.

Step 3: Inspection & Processing

Once we receive the returned product, our team will inspect it to verify eligibility (unused, undamaged, complete).
If approved, we will proceed with the requested remedy (refund, store credit, or exchange) as described below.

6. Remedies: Refunds, Exchanges, or Store Credit

Depending on your request and our product availability:

Refund: We will refund the amount to your original payment method (e.g. credit card, UPI, net banking), excluding any non-refundable shipping or restocking fees. Processing may take 5–10 business days after inspection.
Store Credit / Voucher: For convenience, you may opt to receive a credit that can be used for future purchases on OilFirst.
Exchange: If you prefer a replacement of the same product (or similar), we will ship the replacement once we verify the return. Shipping costs for replacement may be borne by OilFirst (in case of our fault) or by you (in case of buyer’s change).

7. Restocking Fees & Deductions

OilFirst reserves the right to charge a restocking fee (e.g. a percentage of the product price) to cover inspection, repackaging, and handling costs — but only in cases where the product is returned in a condition inferior to expected.
Any original shipping charges paid during purchase are generally non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

8. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via email (with photographs).
We will arrange a free return / pickup (depending on location) and either replace the product or refund the full amount including shipping.
Do not discard the packaging or product — retain all original packaging until we conclude the inspection.

9. Cancellation Before Shipping

You may cancel your order before we dispatch it, for a full refund (including any prepaid shipping).
Once the order is shipped, it becomes subject to our normal return/refund policy.

10. Refund Timeline & Communication

After we approve the return, refunds (or credits) will be processed within 5–10 business days.
We will notify you by email once the refund or replacement is initiated.
Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to post the refund.

12. Changes to the Policy

OilFirst reserves the right to modify or update this Return & Refund Policy at any time, with changes effective from the “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the website after changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.
